Discover the comprehensive process of our therapy, where we specialize in non-invasive treatment for Autism to depression and other conditions.
The Process

Understand the therapy and process at our clinic. From consultation to treatment, discover how we personalize care to meet your unique needs. Patients with conditions such Autism, Depression, TBI - Traumatic Brain Injury, PTSD - Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Parkinson's, Anxiety and many more conditions can benefit from Therapy. Protocol are individualized to stimulate brain function connectivity. The technology involves the diagnostics of a 15 minute qEEG and EKG reading, to customize the treatment for each patient. We personalize protocoal based on the findings of the qEEG as well as the EKG. The stimulation frequency and power are based on the findings of each patient along with their specific conditions. As a result, MeRT can improve brain communication and heart rhythm which can lead to significant breakthroughs.
Step 1. qEEG & EKG
We conduct an eyes-closed 15-minute pain-free scan of a qEEG and an EKG reading. We do use the wet cap method that consist of a fitted cap with 20 electrodes and we use gel for connectivity. These tests measure brain wave frequencies, heart rate, and brain-heart synchronicity , We use this method to gather the brain frequency of the Alpha, Theta, Beta, Delta and Gamma waves. With the information from the qEEG, we create a brain “map” that identifies patterns of dysfunction consistent with various disorders like TBI, emotional disorders such as Depression and or Anxiety, learning problems, and behavioral issues associated with Autism or ADHD.
Once we complete these tests, clinical teams will meticulously examine the results and determine what protocols would be best based on the current state of the brain waves.

Step 2. PROTOCOL
We customize protocols specifically for each patient, based on the qEEG and EKG results. As part of our treatment plan the qEEG and EKG is read by our neuro scientist, a neuro doctor and our clinical team. We use a patented approach with neurophysiological data to develop a customized treatment plan that aims to encourage healthy brain communication. All treatment parameters are overseen and approved by a licensed physician. This approach allows us to develop a highly customized treatment plan based on the finding on the the individual patient's brain waves. The treatment plans are put together based on the readings. The data is what is used to create the brain map that allows our treatment to promote thriving brain communication and function to receive the full benefits.

Step 3. THERAPY
As part of our safety procedures we start with checking the patients threshold to make sure we are not over stimulating. While sitting comfortably, a trained technician will gently position the magnetic coil on the forehead. This coil will deliver an individualized treatment protocol. The technician applies stimulation for 6-8 seconds per minute for around 45 minutes. A typical course of treatment varies, but on average ranges from 6-8weeks, Monday through Friday treatment is five days per week. You should start to see the benefits of treatment within the first week. Treatment is consecutive, you must be able to the undergoing your therapy everyday to see the benefits.
In most cases we can visibly see positive change in brainwave activity with in the first two weeks. The equipment we use for treatment has been FDA-cleared to treat depression and can be used off-label to treat many other disorders.

Step 4. Consultation and Evaluation.
Once a patient has completed two weeks of treatment we conduct another eyes-closed 15-minute pain-free qEEG and EKG scan. We take sequential brainwave recordings every 10 treatments to monitor progress and make any necessary modifications to the treatment protocol. You are required to meet with the clinical staff after every 10 sessions to determine what changes are being notices, progress and gains that are being made in the brain function. At that time the clinician will decided if the current protocols are working and if any adjustments need to be made prior to starting your next session.
Maintenance
Continued improvements will happen after treatment has stopped even weeks after. Patients may need to have maintenance 6 months to a year after treatment based on clinical recommendations during the last consultation after treatment is completed. In order to build on the progress that the patient has made. Maintenance recommendations varies from 4weeks to a full 6 weeks depending of the individual .
